Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
1. - What are you doing? - I want to fix the fuse. - Maybe fuck the ego? - Oh no 2. Orcs fucked completely In Russia, in the Kaluga theater, they simulated an attack by "Ukrainian nationalists" with subsequent "executions" of spectators. This "performance" will be shown in 12 other Russian cities. And this is happening in the country where 20 years ago terrorists seized the theater for real. End nation.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
It's hard to answer this without getting into details... but let's put it simply. -Putin is now on day 259 of a war he thought would take 3 days in the name of "denazification", even though his country and government holds a far higher representation of nationalists groups/individuals. -He estimated taking Kyiv, therefore the whole country, by 27-28 February. -Their troop loss is reportedly pushing 80,000. -They just wrapped up forced mobilisation of 300,000 people mostly from outlying and poor areas of Russia; offering them little to no training or reliable weapons, clothing, equipment. -They're recruiting criminals with the most serious offenses from prisons to fight for PMC Wagner as mercenaries. -They're still jailing Russian citizens who call it a "war". They completely underestimated Ukraine's capabilities, especially with most of the world backing them up and supporting their efforts. Regardless of all those other elements involved in the conflict (political, financial)... Ukraine has managed to thwart the Russians in Kyiv, regain thousands of square kilometers of recently occupied territory, and are now even pushing towards areas occupied before February. They suffer losses as well, and there are innocent civilians in Ukrainian areas as well as pro-Russian areas such as the Donbas, southern occupied territories, and Crimea that are dying and suffering. Russia wants to coerce Ukrainians to join up with them or completely eliminate them on the basis of being either Nazi, LGBTQ, or Satanists. Finally, I've seen lots of reports recently that Russia is pushing to hold peace talks. In February/March they did the same with several ultimatums Ukraine refused to agree with. There now seems to be no such demands being made now, preliminarily speaking. Hope this helps.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
Well said WonderMomma. I've never in my life seen a large world power be so embarrassed on a world stage in more ways just their performance on the battlefield. It would seem Russians are still Soviets, their insistence on lying about everything and anything at the drop of a hat to preserve their previous comfortable status quo is both entertaining and depressing at the same time. I have noticed an extreme reluctance to admit that Ukrainians are defeating them on the battlefield. Their explanation - it's all NATO. Literal NATO soldiers, from any NATO country like Estonia, France, US, UK, Poland, whatever. Not just material or ammo or weapons or ordinance, actual NATO soldiers using modern kit, fighting for NATO as a whole. "They can't be Ukrainian because we invaded them and we're winning because we're Russia". But oh no, now the tides are really turning and the Russians have good words for Ukrainians now because they're "brothers" all the sudden. And now asking for negotiations with no pre-conditions. That tells you almost everything. What an absolute joke.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
Ignorance is bliss, as they say. I find it amazing how stupid they think the rest of the world is... or that they are just that brainwashed and delusional? And wouldn't the use of actual NATO soldiers in a non-NATO country be a huge "no no"? NATO wouldn't even declare a no fly zone over Ukraine... Actual NATO troops in country and fighting in this war would give Putin more of an excuse to declare war on NATO. He keeps saying stuff like "Russia will see the continued supplying of weapons as aggression and will take action" but he can't do shit because he KNOWS he's illegally invading another country. If Ukraine is kicking their ass this bad, could you imagine if NATO military personnel actually did get involved? I think the biggest thing I worry about personally is his mental state.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
If NATO proper actually got involved in this war, with aircraft and land forces involved, Putin's least concern would be Ukraine. It would be game over for him. The amount of Rus air and land assets that were previously watching their other areas are likely greatly degraded. It would be yet another debacle for them. Putin and his supporters certainly are comfortable sending a bunch of Siberians, Chechens, poor Russians and contractors to their deaths. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
on another note... "The National Police of Ukraine has identified 168 thousand Russian servicemen who participated in the invasion. Also, law enforcement officers have already identified 6.6 thousand dead civilians who were shot or tortured by the occupiers"

Only the ignorant and stupid will fall for this. The spectators are more relaxed as visitors in a regular cinema and the Hitler with the bad haircut was the cherry on top of the cake |
