On the subject of drone weapons - I'm surprised that bivouac'd troops don't assign someone in their unit to be on aerial lookout for drones, and is armed with a rifle or countermeasure of some sort. Drones seem to be the go-to anti-personnel and LAV destruction device in this war, and to rotate people on lookout duty for drones could save a bunch of lives and materiel. Of course, I would like UA troops to employ that defensive measure, not RU. |

was watching a video and it came to me, small device listening for propeller frequencies, fucker starts beeping if it hears a drone, add more mics and you got a drone boomerang system that could direct you.

Did. 1980-81, 88-90, and 93-94. Best airframe and weapons system I worked on, and I've worked on several. Afraid they'd be overmatched in this conflict if they were in theater, though.
