Ukrainian formations attempted to break into the territory of the city of Gorlovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This follows from reports of a number of Russian war correspondents.


Military correspondents report fighting in the north-west of Gorlovka, where the enemy has advanced a little. According to military correspondent Alexander Sladkov, there is a large waste heap on the outskirts of the village. The enemy managed to capture one of its parts.

"On one of the outskirts, there is a two-humped waste heap, like a camel. The enemy managed to take one of its humps, farthest from Gorlovka, by storm. The front line now runs between the humps, along the depression of the waste heap."

Yup I see that now, Ukraine today took some territory west of Horlivka. Which had been controlled by Russia since 2014. Not anymore.

As for thermal sniper clip, I know for a fact this is old as the hills, thermal clip of Russian sniper killing Ukrainian sniper, if memory serves Pavlivka/Vuhledar Donetsk oblast area last winter or so. Regardless, it's old.
