Berdyansk has the major sea port that supplies Russian forces in Kherson, Zaporizhia and southern Donyetsk. All other supplies must come by road from the east, or Crimea (the longer, slower way).

If that's not a military target, there is no such thing. And if you're shooting down missiles literally right above a prime target, you're placing your anti air units in the wrong places. Ukrainian guided rockets are not coming from the south.

Yea, I agree that the Berdyansk port itself it is military objective under international law (just like the Kerch bridge), but I guess I was speaking more generally about civilian damage in the conflict as a whole. E.g. the civilian damage to Shebekino. Either RU or UA has to have caused the civilian destruction. Whether this be an intentional strike, a false flag, an intercepted missile causing damage etc. It seems more than likely that RU have simply shit the bed in the AA department and are intercepting missiles over civilian infrastructure which is causing the destruction. This would especially be the case where RU military objectives are located around civilian infrastructure.

But I'm dumb enough to know when I don't know enough on a topic, so I'm just going to shut up now

I believe with your posts you have displayed to be one of the most intelligent and neutral persons in this thread so thanks for your thoughts. Myself I am “team f- nato” all the way (all day every day), but still I respect when a person can look objectively at facts and can use logic even though it would be ‘bad’ for your side.
