the medic actually asked the 2nd guy with all those shrapnel wounds "hows your pain on a scale of 1 to 10?" dude barely mumbles "10" and before that he asked for the medic to "finish him off" ... what other answer would the medic expect? is there a good reason why he'd ask such an obvious question?

first dude with the face wound was taking it like a champ. when medic asked him for his pain on the 1- 10 scale, dude just shows 3 fingers....

It may well be fake tourniquet. Most Chinese fakes are based on CAT generation 6, and only recently has the first knock offs of generation 7 started appearing on the market. Gen 6 hasn't been made for a few years now, so it is likely this was a fake/airsoft version given how easily it broke. It broke in one of the places fakes are known to fail.

For a gen 6, it should go through both parts of the plastic buckle, and not just one. British Army research showed it was still just as effective though, and it is likely this medic was only trained on Gen 7 because of the lack of genuine gen 6 on the market.

Or it could just be a gen 6 that is really, really old.
