Everyone here knows this isn't a lopsided contest between the two adversaries. We would be kidding ourselves if we thought the Ukrainian military were running roughshod over Russia or visa-versa. I think what myself and other people here are asking for (and yes, this is a request, not a demand) is for you to perhaps show just a little decorum and respect for combatants on both sides. Advocating for your favored side is one thing; being insulting and disrespectful shows immaturity and disregard for human life. You're not that guy, are you?

If you start in on some diatribe regarding how the collective we were already spouting invective when you got here, keep in mind there have been a veritable shitload of pro-Russian posters here before you, and they have been systematically disposed of, self-terminated, banned, or just disappeared. We are used to people coming in here and verbally treating this war as a European soccer riot.

Now, I know there may be some things that probably won't change - you know what I'm talking about - A "Hey Putin, go fuck yourself" tag line or something similar - but by and large, there is a need for someone (you) to up your game on the maturity front, and you will likely see a response in kind.
