The Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to counterattack the positions of the Wagner PMC in Kurdyumovka, which was taken by the musicians on November 29.

I asked myself when puplic exections of UK resisters, supporters, deserters etc. will kick off. Obviously the recent setbacks of the ruZ put away any restraint to behave somehow civilized. So far they shot them in a more or less hidden way, like this famous UKR writer, which got shot and buried somewhere in a wood. This is new and it will cost ruZ even more local, national and world wide support.

You have seen a video of Russians cut off genitals and beheading Ukrainians. There are videos of Russians walking on the battlefield and finishing off wounded soldiers. There is a video of a man(Russian...traitor) being bludgeoned to death with a hammer...sanctioned and approved by the state. You know that this is something Russians do.
You know that hanging people with a sign is a "mild" way of executing someone ... for the Russians.

Yes, there is a chance that its a fake, that these people were already dead before they were hung.
The dangerous part here is that when people instantly dismiss such reports of war crimes as fake, you create a world in which war crimes are allowed. Ukrainians could capture Mariupol and find thousands of people, executed...hands tied behind their backs...bullet wounds in the back of their skulls...bodies tied into neat piles...next to crematoriums...and you would still scream "fake".
They could then interview locals and hear stories about people put into gas chamers and ... you would scream "fake actors"
It was a bit extreme example but it shows how much violence and brutality people could get away with if people don't even bother to think if the source is true...and dismiss it instantly.

The people in those images who were hung...are almost certainly real. The way they are hung is not faked. Just compare how they are hanging vs how actors hang in movies. In fake hangings...the center of mass is clearly off. Here...the center of mass is exactly as it should...and the head/neck is bent and squashed as it should.
They might be dead corpses hung up with signs though. Thats another story
PS: notice the stack of wood piled up right behind them. Could be a pyre to burn them and destroy the evidence.

Inscriptions are "Traitor of the Luhansk people" (Предатель луганского народа) and "He passed information to the enemy SMERSH. ("Он передавал сведения врагу СМЕРШ.)"

An online portal writes that they got killed because they were supposed to relay informations of russian troop positions to the Ukrainian Forces.

SMERSH is an infamous soviet WW2 term and was the name of the bolshevik/communist counter intelligence agency. It was totally ruthless and probably killed 100 innocents for 1 real guilty spy. An accusation or verdict was enough, no proofs needed. Its letters literally mean: "cмерть шпионам" (Death to spies!).

At the end a historical photograph of a typical SMERSH operation. That's propably where the ill fated russian troops in Ukraine have their ideas from. If everything fails you just remember the "glorious" past, I suppose^^
