Sorry, but I had a lot of gold teeth from my mom. Her teeth were really bad, and she had them worked on by student dentists back in Wisconsin. As she got older and she started losing them, she would wrap them in a Kleenex and give them to me. When I asked her about having my dentist put them back in, she was indignant and criticized me for being a wastrel. She wasn't going to give gold to the dentist, and then pay to have new gold inlays done! She was old enough that if her teeth gave out, it was just too bad. She wasn't going to waste any time or money at that stage of her life. She suggested that I pull the rest of her teeth if I found her dead someday, as she said the undertaker or the students at the medical college would just collect it all. My suspicion is that the funeral home that cremated her, pulled out any remaining gold, and added that to what they charged me for the funeral cremation, thus getting themselves a massive profit. Assholes.
Anyway, I wasn't about to pry around in her dead mouth with pliers while she was laying in the back yard. I have a Gahan Wilson sense of humor, as did she, but that was too much for me.

I have to say that my dentist is one of the best I've ever seen. He was trained at the USC dental school, and their standards were REALLY high. He has done all my dental work over the last 45 years, and NONE of it has needed any rework. He does a cleaning twice a year, and that is all. I haven't had a filling or any dental problems in over 30 years. My mouth never needs anything more than cleaning. He hates amalgam fillings, and will only do gold or ceramic.
Anywho, when my mom died, I had a handful of her gold fillings to dispose of. I took them and my wedding ring and some other gold I had collected over the years, and cashed in when gold was at $1800 per ounce.
I'm pretty sure that anyone who ever had come across my collection of teeth and gold would have been horrified and thought I was a real Dahmer.

I'm glad that it wasn't the case that the Russian troops were pulling teeth. I understand completely if the dentist was accumulating those. I thought the reports that the Russian troops were pulling them were real, and I'm glad it was cleared up.

The last point is that I now have a mouth full of gold, and I wonder occasionally who is going to wind up with it all when I get cremated. I know undertakers remove gold fillings ALL THE TIME. They DON'T just send you to the oven if you have gold in your mouth. It ALL comes out and goes in their pocket. They DON'T have a Gahan Wilson sense of humor. They are just thieves!
