i can understnd that sentiment. but when do mercenaries become, er i dont know the legal terms to express this idea with regards to soldiering, like freiwillige in WW2? whats the difference between soldiers born in a different country acting as volunteers and mercenaries? and when do they become partisans?

Soldiers are paid for being soldiers and sometimes they get paid more for being in combat. They go to war when they're told to go to war, not much choice in the matter.

Mercenaries get paid to fight other people's wars. They chose to go and weren't subject to being told to by a government.

Many soldiers see them as a 3rd party presence not belonging on the battlefield. Who often mind the "rules" far less than others and aren't bound by as many restrictions. They should fear being captured.

ok so tell me how you know? and how do you know 100% that these weren't civs that were cold and found them coats? how do you know they were not spy's for Ukraine? how do you know the age the list goes on fact is whisky you don't the only thing you like to do is clam you know and that all you footage is perfect and all others must be fake!
