A casualty is not "dead", its a "casualty".

It includes everything that removed a soldier from a battlefield.

It combines prisoners of war, all the injured( both permanent or temporary ), defectors and AWO'ls who run away and abandon their positions, and of course the actual dead.

No-one knows for sure what the actual numbers are, not even russians themselves, but its a fact that the casualty rate is horrific. Its far beyond what any western nation would accept. Zerglings have no value in the ruski-reich and they are being thrown away quite recklessly.
