Russian mercenary Guzenko says on Telegram that journalists lied about russians that cleared the Ukrainian bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnieper, but only in the news. It's the area where the infamous Major Tomov and his unit were captured. Guzenko went on an angry rant about this.

So now nato won't respond if they attack other nato countries? He says that nato countries can't protect anyone because they gave all of their equipment to Ukraine.

That sucks. I know there are someshitty people in the Russian Army (any army really) but I know there are some good people too.

The circumstances are slightly different but my dad was treated shitty after he came home from Vietnam. That pisses me off.

I get both sides of it. The citizens thinking of them as murderers and the soldiers feelings about being called murders. Mostly everyone who joins the military or even drafted like these guys, goes into it with a "defend my country" view... but they quickly find out it's not all they thought it was going to be. Governments use them for their own purposes.
