One is to give them an actual fighting chance in a region against terrorist attacks aimed at them (the civilians) and the other one is to cause as many civilian PR deaths against an invading force as possible:

So is she complicit or just a witness? In any way Gonzalo his defence could very well be: “are you going to arrest the Washington post or the pentagon as well??”
But they should not attack journalists either way. I have been prosecuted before for stating the truth and exposing lies. But that is what makes a good journalist; we destroy propaganda and end conflicts, not because it is fun; we are hated for it and get death threats. But because truth will be just. Always.
