Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III

"In Moscow and the Sverdlovsk region, television and radio broadcasts urged Russians to take shelter. On TV, the air raid alert was accompanied by a nuclear threat. Authorities have already announced that servers have been hacked."

Terrifying the public against NATO & it's allies.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III

For 5386th time. No one is denying there's nationalist in Ukraine. There are MORE in Russia. There are nationalists in every predominately white country.

You should stop spreading fake news that everyone but Russia doesn't know about it.

At this point, in the eyes of Putin and the RF and for many pro-Russians including yourself... anyone who is anti-Putin, anti-Russian Federation, or even anti-Russian is considered a Nazi.

It's getting quite comical. Russia should be putting itself in check before trying to check other countries on this issue.

He's just a very challenged infant looking for a bone to chew on, as always !

There are some nationalists in Ukraine...sure. There are nationalists in all countries. The question is, what do they want and what power do they have. So far, these "nazis" in ukraine want their own country. Do they want to kill jews? I doubt it. Do they want to invade Russia? I doubt it.
For all intents and purposes, they are just "ultra conservatives" of Ukraine. Just like Trump/right winger conservatives are in USA. US had its own "white suppremacy" rallies, Close the border rallies, "US is for white americans only" campaigns etc. Current Russia has doubled down on nazi'sm and is heading down a dark road.

Now, as for the "nazi salute" thing, a part of those "salutes" are most likely NATO hand signals for "attention" and "ready". Hand signals are preferred over shouting "im ready" or "lets move". Each army usually has their own hand signals as well...and some units develop their own signals within the army. Raised hand is also a natural hand signal in any case. I know many people( myself included ) who occasionally use this hand gesture to draw attention or say "hi". There are many concerts where i have given this "nazi salute" to the band...because i have a beer in one hand. Whatever the stories are behind these videos, i'll say it again, what matters is what those guys want...and what they want to do.

That truck is probably full of Russian corpses, and those bears are not picky. Also, given the state of the Russian military, I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to recruit animals for their nazi cause.

Ukraine mourns 'Da Vinci' war hero killed in battle for Bakhmut.
Story by AFP • 7h ago

Thousands of mourners, including Ukraine's armed forces chief, knelt on Kyiv's main square on Friday at the funeral of a war hero nicknamed "Da Vinci", who was killed by Russians in the battle for Bakhmut.

President Volodymyr Zelensky and visiting Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin also made a surprise appearance at the ceremony, and thousands of mourners marched through central Kyiv to pay final respects on Independence Square, known as the Maidan.

While the funeral showed Ukraine's efforts to honour its war dead, it also underscored the heavy impact of the Russian invasion and the long-running battle for the eastern town of Bakhmut.

Ukraine has not revealed the scale of its military losses during the war.

Dmytro Kotsiubailo was a 27-year-old volunteer fighter with the call sign "Da Vinci" who led a battalion called the Da Vinci Wolves.

He took up arms after joining Right Sector ultra-nationalists in 2014 and began fighting Moscow-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine. Zelensky announced his death in a video address on Tuesday.

Zelensky awarded Kotsiubailo the Hero of Ukraine decoration, the country's highest honour, in December 2021.

He was the country's youngest "hero".

- 'Hard path to victory' -

In a rare public sighting, Ukraine's commander-in-chief Valery Zaluzhny came to kneel beside the coffin on the central square.

"The path to our victory is very hard. And the price for this victory is the lives of our warriors, the best citizens of Ukraine, who have stood in the defence of the country with weapons in their hands," Zaluzhny said in a speech.

"You should be sure that we won't just avenge you. We will definitely win victory. Sleep peacefully, my friend."

Flags with the emblem of Kotsiubailo's battalion -- three snarling wolves -- fluttered around the coffin.

Zelensky brought Finland's Marin to the packed religious service at Saint Michael's Golden Domed Cathedral.

Soldiers in parade uniform then carried Kotsiubailo's coffin out to a khaki truck loaded with flowers.

Mourners carrying flowers and Ukrainian flags marched down the hill to Maidan through closed streets. Many were weeping as they filed past his open coffin.

"We are feeling huge grief here. Grief and pain that our young men like him are dying," said Liudmyla, a pensioner, carrying a bunch of tulips.

"I didn't know him personally but I respect him immensely for what he did for his country. I'm proud to come from a country with citizens like him," said 17-year-old law student Valentyn Demenyuk, wearing a scarf in the colours of Ukraine's yellow and blue flag.

- Father and son killed -

Earlier on Friday, a smaller group of mourners gathered in the same spot to pay their respects to a father and son killed together in the fierce fighting for Bakhmut.

Oleg Khomyuk, 52, and his 25-year-old son Mykyta signed up to the army as volunteers shortly after Moscow invaded Ukraine in February last year.

They served together and died in the same trench on March 2, according to their family.

Khomyuk covered his son with his body during an attack but a shell exploded nearby, killing them both, Yuriy Samson, Oleg's brother, said at their funeral, wiping tears from his eyes.

The Khomyuks initially joined the territorial defence in Kyiv but also fought in the southern region of Kherson and eastern region of Kharkiv.

They later joined Ukraine's troops in the eastern Donbas region that Moscow seeks to control.

The men "died heroically in combat positions", the 241st Battalion in which they served posted on Facebook.

It included a picture of father and son posing together with their weapons, adding: "Heroes never die! We will remember. Let's get our revenge."

RIP, Hero's of Ukraine !

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III

Ukraine scorns Russian missile strikes on civilians, defense of Bakhmut holds.

By Pavel Polityuk

KYIV, Ukraine (Reuters) - Russia's first missile blitz on Ukrainian cities in weeks was met with defiance and disgust over the targeting of civilians, while Ukrainian forces defending the eastern town of Bakhmut continued to thwart Russian attempts to break through.

The pre-dawn barrage on Thursday killed at least nine civilians and cut electricity supplies in several cities, but there was relief that the risk of a catastrophic meltdown at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant was averted as power was restored after a temporary disconnection from the Ukrainian grid.

Ukraine said its air defences shot down many drones and missiles during the wave of attacks, but said the Russian forces also fired six Kinzhal hypersonic cruise missiles, which they have no way to stop.

Moscow confirmed it had used hypersonic Kinzhal - Russian for dagger - missiles in Thursday's attack.

The mass strikes on targets far from the front were the first such wave since mid-February, breaking a lull in the air campaign against Ukraine's civil infrastructure that Russia launched five months ago.

"The occupiers can only terrorise civilians. That's all they can do," said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. "But it won't help them. They won't avoid responsibility for everything they have done."

Russia has repeatedly denied targeting civilians. Its defence ministry said it had carried out a "massive retaliatory strike" as payback for a cross-border raid last week, and claimed to have hit all its intended targets, destroying drone bases, disrupting railways and damaging facilities that make and repair arms.

The missiles killed villagers in the western Lviv region, and closer to the frontline in the central Dnipro region, while Russian artillery also killed at least three people in the northeastern city of Kharkiv.

Moscow says such hits are intended to reduce Ukraine's ability to fight. Kyiv says the air strikes have no military purpose and aim to harm and intimidate civilians, a war crime.

In Kyiv, a woman stood outside her shattered apartment, holding a toddler in her arms while venting her anger with Russia in the aftermath of the attack.

"How can they do this? How is this possible? They are not humans," said Liudmyla, 58, after a night in which the air sirens sounded for seven hours.

Ukrainian military analyst Oleh Zhdanov said that the failure of Russian intelligence to identify military targets and led to a "Plan B - demoralising the population".

"That is why they hit energy infrastructure, the weakest point, electricity, heating, water," Zhdanov said in a YouTube presentation.

"And they seem unable to change their strategy with the notion that - whether they make hits or not - sooner or later the people will say 'enough, we give up.' But that won't happen."

HYPERSONIC MISSILES

The White House said that the barrage was "devastating" to see and Washington would continue to provide Ukraine with air defence capabilities.

But, Russia is believed to have a few dozen Kinzhals, which fly many times faster than the speed of sound and are built to carry nuclear warheads with a range of more than 2,000 km (1,200 miles). In his speeches, President Vladimir Putin regularly touts the Kinzhal as a weapon for which the transatlantic NATO alliance backing Kyiv has no answer.

The missile attacks briefly knocked out power to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, Europe's largest, severing it from the grid and forcing it onto emergency diesel power to prevent a meltdown. It was later reconnected to Ukraine's energy grid, operator Ukrenergo said.

The plant, which Russia has held since capturing it early in the war, is near the front line and both sides have warned in the past of a potential for disaster. Moscow said it was safe.

U.N. nuclear watchdog chief Rafael Grossi made an impassioned appeal for a protection zone around the plant.

"Each time we are rolling a dice. And if we allow this to continue time after time then one day our luck will run out," Grossi told the IAEA's 35-nation Board of Governors.

UKRAINE FIGHTS ON AT BAKHMUT

On the battlefield, the week has seen an apparent shift as Ukraine has decided to fight on in Bakhmut, a town that has borne the brunt of a Russian winter offensive in the bloodiest fighting of the war.

Moscow says Bakhmut is important as a step to securing the surrounding Donbas region, a major war aim. The West says the ruined city has little value and Russian forces are sacrificing lives to give Putin his only victory since sending hundreds of thousands of reservists into battle at the end of last year.

Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of Russia's Wagner private army which has led the fighting in Bakhmut, said on Wednesday his forces controlled all of the city east of a river through it.

Giving an update on the situation there, the Ukrainian military analyst Zhdanov, said defenders had foiled Russian attempts to completely surround Bakhmut from the west, and the frontline on the southern side had held for several days, while the enemy had made some headway in villages to the north.

Moscow, which claims to have annexed a fifth of Ukraine, says it launched its "special military operation" a year ago to combat a security threat. Kyiv and the West call it an unprovoked war to subdue an independent state.

Okay, listen up, you all need to stop spreading fake news about Nazism in Ukraine. Random people lifting their arm in "Ave Caesar" style are just stretching their stiff arm. And what sounds like "Heil"... Well, it is just "Hi" with Ukrainian accent.
"BuT lOok, NaZis"

You are a psychology case of what a person does to distract himself when the facts are just unbearable

"A saboteur who allegedly blew up a Russian A-50U aircraft with a drone was detained in Belarus.

- I worked with the SBU!
- Where?
- Kyiv!

When will these actors be awarded?"

The source is suggesting this is a ruse.
