Understand all this completely. For me it's a matter of weighing evidence and going with what makes the most sense. I do know one thing for certain... no one actually knows any of it for sure and that's part of my problem in believing any of it. If that makes sense.

Maybe god is an alien but in any case, he/they should have given much more tangible evidence by now. I tried to believe for a very long time.

Evolution is a near 100% certainty. The fact that you are not a clone of your parents and pass on your genes guarantees it.
