I think this ship would be more effective at destroying the enemy if Russia simply donated it to the enemy. The toll it would take on logistics to maintain this rust bucket would do more damage than whatever it could do when its put into service.

I managed the assets for a tank platoon and later a combined arms battalion. The thought of what a single American aircraft carrier requires to operate blows my mind. And we have many of those, it's insane.

Yeah, most people don't have a clue.
A carrier is an airport, a small city, a military base and a harbor rolled into one.

When i served in the army as a conscript, i saw the mountain of trash that was left by a single battalion after staying camped on a site for a week...and it was crazy...trucks and trucks full of trash.

Not sure if this belongs here but it could be seen as a protest to the energy prices right?

Would be pretty distasteful if it depicted a Kiev family but it gladly does not. Anyway enjoy:

(EDIT: there is a SHIT TON, more than usual, of Russian TV propaganda being posted the last week... I mean there is always a lot... but for whatever reason(s) this week has been absolutely ridiculous. I would post more of it but I literally cannot keep up. From "biolaboratories in Kazakhstan we forgot about" to "Ukraine was threatening the world with nuclear terrorism and only Russia was able to save everything," to "Neo-Fascist power is in control in Ukraine and all we want is to be able to speak Russian and they won't allow it"

2. Dr. Yakov Gradinar together with Prosthetics for Ukrainians, is helping more and more of our Warriors walk again.

Beyond grateful to everyone who makes this possible and helps our Defenders come back to active life!

(Personally, watching this... it takes me back to watching similar videos regarding US soldiers coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan

Protest is not the "p" word I would describe it as. There are several of these types of commercial out... including one where an American little girl with two daddies, in a house full of LGBTQ-type literature... looking all sad while she colors a picture of herself with a dad and a mom... she places the drawing in her Christmas stalking and overnight, Russian Santa comes to her home, changes the photos sitting around to a mom and dad, changes the books to something other than LGBTQ books and it ends showing the little girl all smiling and happy for Santa bringing her a mom.

Disgusting and inhumane to use children in all of these videos.

Myself I am not protesting because I have a good job and can pay all the energy hikes and increases, but I do recognise that when nobody is in the apartment, we turn the heating down to 10 degrees, and at night 12, whereas before it would be at 16 during the night and 21 degrees during the day. But now it is at 16 lol. Too cold to build the Lego set 42100 which I got for Christmas last year
