UPDATE: General reports are that this is arson, with explosive devices... however Russia is saying arson isn't confirmed.

RUSSIAN SOURCE:

Media reports that the version of the OBI hypermarket arson is not confirmed. According to preliminary data, the emergency could happen for two reasons: equipment malfunction and violations during repair work.

The Mega Khimki shopping center will be closed today. (no shit? )

Probably the last update I will do on this unless something new develops... apparently this was all cause by a mistake a welder made.

"The welder explained that he was making a fireproof pier so that the sparks from welding would not create a fire hazard. But, apparently, the pier was made of poor quality"
