Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media
Maybe you are right with a few of your points, but shall the eu just do nothing when the terror state russia attacks and invades one of our neighbours? And the economy had struggled too, if we just had done nothing, because of refugees, increasing prices, security loss. Dont forget, that Putler threadens the whole eu and uk. Finally, i tried to not hate russia, but after the missile and drone attacks and destroing the infastructure of the ukraine, i just hate them. Sad.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media
I didn’t say say wether EU made a mistake or not. I actually admire the fact that regular citizens of EU were all in to help Ua people. They did it out of pure motives. I was talking about what can happen in the future ( potentially) and explained my reasons to believe why EU can potentially face big problems. I can do the same for Russia if you like - why Russia could break apart into smaller states.

My respond to you should not sound harsh, i just wanted to give you an inside perspective as an eu citizen (and a pro-nato, not like Faust). I see it too, that we face big problems. Btw, what do you think about the anexion of parts of ukraine with your family there? I thought the majority of people there wanted to be indipentend. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media
Russia didn’t want the 2014 referendum to be held at the time and didn’t recognise it until 2022 for the record. The people there wanted to be independent but after 8 years of civil war, they think they are better of with nuclear protection from russia. Being part of Russia instead of Ukraine is probably a lesser evil to them so to speak. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media
I was wrong about the bridge, but this does not really look like something which can be restored easily. Btw part of Nord2 did not get blown up and could still be operational, not to go conspiracy on your ass but to me that means Russia could be behind it. It is very easy for the perpetrators to have blown up everything. So maybe russia did it to enforce Nord2 to be opened in the winter? Or maybe if another country did it they left part of Nord2 intact so that it would look like russia did it? Who do you think did it btw? |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media
My family is in Krimea, so we were welcoming Russians there after what happened in Kiev. We have met them as defenders. You can find a lot of videos where people tell them thank you, kids bring them flowers etc. My family and most of Krimea people did not recognize this new terrorist so called government - Turchinov, Tyagnibok, Yacenuk. My uncle joined territorial defense as soon as we herd how ultras threatened to send train of “friendship” to us. Put us on a knifes and so on… If you are talking about DNR and LNR. I supported them and my family did too. Because no one asked them if they want to have this government, just like us. They had all the right to stand up and tell them that. That’s when Neo Nazi battalions were formed Azov, Aydar, Dnepr1, Dnepr2, Kiev and so on. With the first executions people took weapons to protect themselves and the families. Don’t remember exactly how many but we had a lot of volunteers who went to fight UA army and Nazi batallions together with Donetsk and Lughansk guys. I look at it like this… Turchinov had to go there and negotiate or at least try… instead an army was sent. After 8 years of hate, shellings and death I’m pretty sure Donbas and Lughansk regions wanted to join Russia. While this battalions were fueled by hate and desires to punish/kill/destroy, teach a lesson, force to serve the Maidan government … regular army was told that they are going to fight invaders and terrorists. Every time I look into UA soldiers eyes I feel pain and feel sorry for them. They were suppose to be heroes but once captured and encountered with locals they were lost and realized that they were killing the same Ukrainians. If ur talking about new regions ( Kherson, Zaporozhie). I don’t trust this referendums. In the end Even if Russia was vastly supported there before war… destruction and death around you can easily change your mind. |
