Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
Couldn't agree more, doing miles long armored vehicles column and getting blow up by a few soldiers. We can see their tactic are barely past the second WW strategy. Tanks and armored vehicles are now almost completely useless. They're only good against other tanks. Meanwhile the U.S would just have a 100 drone flying around non stop and sending missiles when the soldier are not even aware they've been monitored by that drone 5 miles away in the last 15 minutes of their life. Needless to say that the west intelligence gathering technology is literally to the moon when Russia's seem to be same old top down directives with a few spy satellites. The reason why Ukraine's force can hold so much despite the overwhelming numbers is because we feed them all the info they need about the enemy location. The fog of war is almost completely lifted on our side. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
They lost twice as many man in a month, then America in 20 years of Afghanistan. American value their servicemen a lot and want them not to die needlessly. Russia see their soldiers as pawns on a chessboard.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
I am pretty sure more American soldier veterans put a gun to their head and pulled the trigger, or any variation or that. Those do not count as direct casualties though. But there a few each day or something?

Russia as one of the highest suicide rate among men on earth. That's been true for many decades now.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
That’s a terrible topic to discuss at a party, unless you want to be Mr Buzz Killington. I have a mentally ill relative who discusses conspiracy theories, Putin, Trump, George Floyd, the Grammies etc. at parties.
