Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
This underlines how being prepared is the most important part of war, and the fact that to be prepared, it takes years, coordination and serious money. The Ukrainians received billions of dollars of aid over like 8 years and from many countries. They are probably one of the best armies on the planet (but don’t quote me on that). Meanwhile, Russians obviously didn’t have the right intelligence and thought it would be a low intensity conflict with perhaps a few skirmishes, AND I am sure got some sort of “green light” from NATO to attack. Like they gave signs to Putin that they wouldn’t attack etc. I think that was Zelensky’s rhetoric before the war when Russia was amassing troops on the borders of Ukraine and doing exercises etc. “Guys, nothing is gonna happen. We absolutely don’t expect a Russian invasion. The Russkies will turn around and go home anytime now.” Boom! 4D chess move.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
The post-COVID economic consequences and the war in Ukraine will lead to an unprecedented refugee crisis. We have entered the era of governing by crises. From COVID to January 6th “insurrection” to George Floyd to Freedom Truckers to Ukraine to food crisis to refugee crisis etc etc. And for each crisis, the ruling class will implement a solution whose ultimate goal is more control over the people and ressources in general. |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
Reading the posts of these few pro-Russia apologists makes me giddy. How very dumb they are going to feel when this falls apart more than it already has and all Russian units head back home. Instant national holiday for Ukraine. Keep licking that Putin-flavored boot. The man is a sociopathic snake who deserves a good ol' fashioned drawing and quartering.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
Bro, ukrainian and russian are fairly different. Different ENOUGH to become two nations. It’s like Swedish and Norwich. They are not the same. And we all should applaud everyone who wants to be fucking free. Freedom. Independence. We all fought for it at least once in the lifetime of any nation. Let’s find a moment to recognize Ukraine doing just that.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
Did you read the very beginning where I said worthless opinion? I know they’re different. They speak different languages. And I don’t care. They all look and sound the same to me. Zelensky is a corrupt piece of shit just like Putin is. Just like Biden is. Don’t shoot let them burn. The media trashed Zelensky for years and now all of a sudden with Biden in control we’re on the brink of another world war. Biden and his crackhead kid’s involvement in Ukraine is why all this started in the first place. Oh and last point. Where the fuck is the freedom? Freedom to what? Either work my body to death or starve to death. Fuck that and fuck this. America has more laws than any other country in the world. But you keep drinking that koolaid while Zelensky’s soldiers murder every man under age 60 that tries to flee the fighting. I take pride in myself. “My country” can go fuck itself. |

This, 100x this. It's great fun laughing at all the pro-Putin morons tearfully bleating "but the west!!1" while they jerk off to Vladolf's topless horse pics.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
At the end, these are all just imaginary lines on a map only there to serve the ruling class. Freedom to choose how much of your freedom you will give up to your overlords? Independence to choose to which overlord you will pay taxes? Any way you slice it, the Ukrainians will just end up more enslaved after the war, whether the technocratic elite that ultimately rule them are Russians or NATO.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
It should become a great priority of the free world to have assasination plan for dictators who behave like this. The world can tolerate idiots like Kim Jung Un if they stay in their corner. But expanding trough unjustifiable war should no longer be allowed. Their government structure require their leader to stay in power to be effective, if they murder our president, people will be pissed off but ultimately we would just vote another one in and life would go on. Our system is resilient to change not theirs. Of course this has some risk. As it is in their military protocol to answer to regime change within Russia by potentially launching nuclear attack on the west. However i'm of the opinion that this written doctrine is mostly to dissuade and is unworkable in reality. If you blur the path of relationship with the west well enough, confusion will spread and by the time they really figure out who did it, the dust will have settled and they would chicken out. Putin has now more enemy then ever before, there's a lot of people inside Russia including people close to him that must really start to feel disgruntled about his lunacy. If we can just turn one of those into an assassin, what could they really do about it? Nuke everyone because 1 Russian guy killed the russian president. They might be little bitch for a despot, they're not tantrum throwing babies with suicidal intents. |
