Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
For that they would need to evacuate all civilians first and then move all their troops out of the area.. “We initially were to disable the military as to preserve civilian infrastructure and life, but due to illegal tactics as documented by amnesty international, not to mention attacks on nucleair reactors and Zelensky not initially evacuating its citizens to serve as humans shields, the decision was made to evacuate all citizens out of the area and troops were pulled back as well. All remaining Ukrainian and mercenary forces are to surrender or fall back to X as we declare the entirety of Y as demilitarised zone” Something like that? Russia knows that western backed terrorists will forever kill mayors, journalists and police officers in liberated areas even after referendum or especially during them, blowing up voting posts and what not. As i stated from the very beginning, long term occupation could never have been any realistic goal. You will claim it was, but no western nation was ever to successfully do it, not in Vietnam, nor in conflict started this millennium. “But the russians were stupid so this really was their goal and they wanted to do it in 3 days even!” Yeah sure Whiskey, but i mean the other people know what is up. |

Those assclowns are always silent until they can captain hindsight, or until they can regurgitate very obvious predictions, becoming silent again if even those predictions fail.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
Looking at the goal of the recognition of the independent republics, if something does happen to the special military operation, then a lot of people in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions are about to go on a diet It is not genocide if it’s evil russian speaking civilians that sought independence, your CNN and twitters will make sure of that |

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread
I plucked this out of the media thread to redirect it to the comments thread. And here goes the personal insults. Normally this wouldn't be an insult but coming from you, it most definitely is. I never claimed to be a western journalist. I summarize news stories for a website involving the war in Ukraine using sources from all sides and all depths of the earth's assholes. I don't think the western world is all that and a bag of chips either but I certainly prefer it over the alternative. You seem to really focus hard on vilifying it to the point where doing so has clouded your judgement a bit and causes you to generalize a whole group of people based off the actions of our governments and elite who "rule" us. And you live in a western country! Odd. I don't generalize you and Duntez with all the people on the opposite side of this argument. Never have. Never would. I don't think negatively about Russians in general based on what Putin and the rest of the RF do. Why do you condemn people based on things they cannot control? I thought perhaps my novel posts would at least give you an idea that I do try to look into things instead of believing everything I hear, further helping to melt away the stereotype of the typical westerner, in your eyes. I guess not. When the personal insults and bickering start, it no longer constitutes an intelligent discussion, therefore, I lose all interest in continuing it. At least Duntez replies back to me with things I can go and research as well as acknowledges some of my points. You leave me with nothing but grossly inaccurate analogies, "what ifs", and "whatabouts". That's the kind of information that as a person trying to maintain responsible reporting of factual information, gets ignored.
