Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

Thanks that seems logical. So only artillery and less ground troops

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

This is kinda like saying we should have let the south do what they want. Admit it, eastern Ukraine full of idiots, kinda like lots of red states here, and they really cant make decisions for themselves. Russia is hell big I just realized, they could have just left if it really bugged them. Oh wait its their land blah blah blah. Well if good ol gggranddad had thought that way I wouldnt have the joy of being a nuisance here with you all. Civilians in warzones are cute and helpless and i want to help them but they are dumb!
Not really, old ggraandpapa thing is more about Americans( Europeans) and natives. Donbas is a different story and it’s not black and white how you pointed out. In fact they made their decision and chose to stay with Russia rather following austro-Hungarian Style. Russia is big indeed and all those people here who scream it’s only because of the resources are don’t understand the basics of the conflict l, well at least IMO

And it did took place that Kiev let them vote in presidential and didn’t on parliament elections after. How would you explain this behavior other then “fuck you, fuck democracy, we r peeing from the tall tower on all your rights and everything that comes with it, it’s about us only, thanx bye”

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

Hm. Can you explain why they moved a bunch of artillery and armored units from Irkutsk and the other corners of Russia?

They did have a lot. But they lost a lot. This is war Duntez not fantasyland where a lot of people don't die, this is for both sides of this war, the Ukranians are doing the same thing at a lesser intensity it would seem, they're getting killed too. But they have home turf advantage, they have more motivation to fight in the first place.

If Russian equipment and personnel was "nowhere near to be depleted" they wouldn't be sending T-62's, T-64's and sending in untrained conscripts and un-graduated military cadets to war.

They also wouldn't be aggressively forcing Russian passports on citizens in Donbas, Zaporzhizia and Kherson. (able to be drafted as per Russian Federation law).

This is what happens when an army has personnel and equipment shortages.

I never said that Russia has little to none losses. I only stated that they will drug this old metal from all over Russia. Why using only one location when you can use all locations to cheap in. Old tanks, I look at it as - if we not gonna use it now, then it’s just gonna rot inside the warehouses. You want them to send t90s and armatas only? Well idk how good they can stand against modern ATRLs. And if there is not a big difference then use old equipment first which you have thousands. And they do their job just fine in a way shoot and destroy.

Not sure about the reason for giving out Russian passports is only to fulfill army needs in men power. To me it’s kind of a crazy idea. But I guess we will see

My point is, fighting for a revolution might end up getting your whole family killed and that's it, the end. One thing I hate about protests, no matter how well intentioned assholes come out to play too. Imagine if a million people protest, what if those dumbasses just went to work for a day and donated all that money. That's over $150 mil a day with our minimum wage. Pool that money and do something useful, oh but they can't work together like that cause...That is the difference between rulers and idiots. Rulers rule through money, protesters flirt with violence to get what they want. Protesters want a bigger piece of the pie, they think they are all altruistic and shit but deep down we are all in it for survival. This is what I meant by saying the only place for me is up, we sensibly left two shitty empires that treated us like dirt and now there is no where left to go. But if you join my empire I promise things will be different!

All the energy of generations of Soviets was wasted on those tanks and crap, they could have built a better country and then Ukraine wouldn't have broken up with them. Don't get me wrong we do it here too, all these tanks and not one damn pyramid or something. Ok one stupid mountain that pissed off natives. Our rulers need to play Civ more before taking office, shit is embarassing.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

The amount we Americans budget for our military is just absolutely insane.

2019 military budget across all branches? $732 billion
