Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

1. Gulf war 90-91. Shit hole Iraq invaded even more shit holed Kuwait… they r not even white and US had to stick their noise right in between Oil rigs.
2. When president of Georgia was Shevardnadze and they had a conflict there, both sides of the conflict decided to have Russian peace keepers. Peace keepers will get legitimate stay ONLY if approved by two sides of conflict and then by UN Security Council. Both of this laws were in place and Russian peace keepers stayed there for 30 years. Until very morning of 2008 when GERGIAN president Saakashville after years of reciaving NATO equipment and ammunition ( SURPRIIISE) have decided he’s ready to take Ossetia back. They shelled the shit out of Chinval the capitol of Ossetia and killed somewhere between 10-20 Russian piece keepers. Well fuck , Russia said - ok fuck boy, here we are and raped Georgian army in a few days. US would do the same I bet ya. Nato or US didn’t do shit for two reasons In my opinion- war was too short and second, even with massive propaganda that Russia invaded Georgia, they still knew that their puppet Saakashville went waaay too far by killing Russians soldiers overthere. So STFU with Russia invaded Georgia… this western narrative got out of hand long time ago.
3. Sanctions… wtf r u talking about
"Russian peace keepers" I'm very sure Russia had the best of intentions..

Keep it civil my guy, emotions. I don't have any beef with you As with sanctions, I think you understood perfectly well what I said. Don't pretend to make some "I disagree so therefore you're an idiot" point. It's no secret that sanctioning places that are economically dubious is very complicated. Sanctioning developed countries is pretty straightforward for obvious reasons.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

Thoughts on Bucha? I think the Ukes killed anyone that even let a Russian use their bathroom and are trying to pin it on the Russians. It has all the markings of an Eastern Europe false flag event. I want to hear your opinions.
Russia stayed there for almost a month, left without pressure, they were not on hurry to leave evidence like that. In a cities and villages under Russian control now we do not see anything near to this madness. All together it’s just don’t add up. I call BS. Now for all them hot heads here, talking about ONLY bodies of civilians with hands tight behind their back killed in a executional manner, or rapes of women and children especially.
Not sure if they were executed by Ukrainians or Mi6 or w/e… at first I thought they could use dead bodies that got accidentally killed during a fight/shelling between ukrs and Russians. It then again, 2nd may 2014… Ukrainians did burn other Ukrainians in Odessa who didn’t agree with Maidan… almost 40 people died. No one never paid the price. Plus government of Ukraine made a law that all people who was involved in revolutionary actions they are free from any accusations and protected by law… lmao. I killed a man and then made a law that would protect me from going to prison for that … shmaaaart

Idk why r u laughing about it, they did their job until one pro western sociopath decided to go absolutely nuts on Ossetia civilians.

About sanctions I didn’t get you point. US invaded and killed 6 mills of Muslims. Civilized countries said this is wrong and cut all the ties with US just like they are doing with Russia right now. Yeah, it would be painful, but hey, that would be fair. Now in reality EU don’t have balls ( for now) to beef with US, but at least they could protest by not sending their troops or w/e.. to use their media to fight propaganda idk .. something

Europe doesn't side with Ukraine because they want to please America. Europe sides with Ukraine because Ukraine is part of Europe, so when Russia invaded Ukraine, it invaded Europe as well. Thats why Sweden and Finland are ready to join NATO, they saw another neutral european country get invaded by Russia.

Its like having a crazy meth addict living right next to you. When you hear that the meth addict kicked down the door of your other neighbour and stabbed him, most likely you're going to buy yourself a gun and reinforce your own door, form a patrol with the rest of the neighbours.

Yeah, I never agreed with invading Iraq and especially Afghanistan, even when I was there. If you walked around a random US military unit today, or 15 years ago, you'd be hard pressed to find a single serviceman who was like "yeah, I still agree about invading them". Those guys who amazingly still did agree were labelled as morons, even in my unit. Pure stupidity.

The EU hasn't had a set of balls in several decades. But if Putin continues his madness and starts knocking on more doors, making more countries nervous, they might actually grow a pair of balls (Finland, Slovakia and Poland especially come to mind). I have a feeling Putin's xenophobic soviet-era world view, and his massive ego, may drive him for more. If you give a mouse a cookie, he's going to want a glass of milk. Only Putin's a big fucking rat and he wants more than just a cookie. Only time will tell.

Finland has had a military draft since WW2 so they're more prepared than the rest of northern- and western Europe. Bigger infantry reserve but less heavy equipment than Ukraine.

They're only talking of joining NATO now because Ukraine is not getting direct military backing from rest of Europe, basically fighting the war alone. So staying neutral is not worth it if russians invade and occupy parts of the country, destabilizing the entire country for years.

EU on the other hand is not a military coalition, its a trade coalition/superpower, right there on Top 3 with USA and China.

I am about as pro-military, pro-'Merica, and pro-democracy as they come, but I think I can call a spade a spade.

OIL.

If our oil imports were being threatened by this little skirmish, you'd see an increased involvement by our government.

Bring the hate.

Could not have said it better. Can you imagine the Finns if Russia invades. A bunch of Viljam Pylkäs's running around.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

Makes me laugh that this is about Ukraine - Russia war and the americans are talking about themselves and their domestic policies.
As someone who has been neutral about NATO - Russia, this situation has changed the common opinion in Finland about joining NATO. We can not trust anything Putin and his entourage is saying. All these years Russia has been bullying it's neighbours by spying, airspace violations, driving a submarine to Sweden etc.
Yes Zelenskyi had some shit on him (Pandora papers), but he has shown that he is a leader. He also had the opportunity to leave Ukraine and lead from abroad but he did not do that, he is for the people.
It is crazy that Russia does not talk about this invasion as a war rather than a special operation.
Everyone who opposes Putins views gets sent away like China/N-Korea does. All the money that they supposedly put into military went to corrupted people(Putins best buddies). Take money from people and give it to friends thats a leader if I ever see one
Most of the military forces did not even know they were going into Ukraine. They were tricked into it.

This just my 2 cents.
