Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

Ah gotcha. I don't think I've ever seen an M4 mag well on an AK in real life, that's interesting. I still have yet to build an AK from start to finish, I've only done AR's.
had to cut an ar lower in half, bent buffer tube threads anyway. a few slight mods to the front trunnion and its like it was meant to fit.

Here's the Zastava M92/PAP. Added the ergo to the safety, haven't blued yet

Edit: the magazine is a 30 year old Norinco ribless 30-rounder. It was still wrapped in rice paper and cosmoline

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

lucky fucker, im drooling over that m92. gotta go 7.62 for that short a barrel. i still got a flat dedicated to that. im stuck on the west coast. wont be able to even buy parts soon. my sbr's have no stocks(pistols). you should try out magpul pistol grips, very cozy. i had to dump my wood furniture, was seeping cosmoline for years, tried everything. how hard is it to keep on target, recoil wise?

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

Looks like an ammo depot got hit at some type of perfect trajectory to make those land the way they did. Doesn't look like faulty artillery imo. But, Jesus H. Tits.. if that is faulty artillery... sheeeeeesh.
quite a few have a distinctive popped look. I'm hella curious if there just from the 60's or depot fire

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

The Magpul grip I have on one of my AR's is tits. Very comfy, haven't tried an AK one. This US Palm is so good I haven't felt the need to.

Recoil wise on the M92, that stock Soviet flash hider you see isn't good at all but the actual muzzle brake I have (forgot the name) is amazing. But of course it's also louder and more uncomfortable for anyone around me when I'm firing it.

Here's a photo of it with the brake. Recoil minus like 30-40%, it's amazing. Also it used to be an underfolder, I had M-13 transform it to a Stormworkz side folder

Edit: Also before I had the underfolder cutouts filled in.

lol those things use half the powder on whoever's next to you. probably have but try it without it, fking flamethrower. side folder is the way to go. it just looks right. that 5.56 ak i have has the stock 74 brake only lets it move backwards with recoil, zero rise. haven't found a more solid platform yet. but its not like ive tried everything either.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

I think it’s pretty neat that Ukraine is killing the Ukraine POWS in Russian controlled territory. This really will birth another ISIS
