i know those exist whiskey, im saying what you first pictured is the rail version. i went plain irons on both of my builds. custom m4 magwell for the 74 i made.

Sinister - I was saying I'm too used to more modern ways of securing a rail on an AK74. I forgot that they still use side mounts on AK74's.

Ah gotcha. I don't think I've ever seen an M4 mag well on an AK in real life, that's interesting. I still have yet to build an AK from start to finish, I've only done AR's.
