Apparently this town is one of the most northern in Israel and because it is so north and close to the border, the airtime of the rockets is only 15 or so seconds so people dont get any real time to get to shelters. I dont even know if that is enough time to iron dome to react or if it even has one to defend. Probably why the border is being pushed back by IDF to increase rocket flight time, i could be wrong

This is probably why IDF is going to occupy the South Lebanese mountain range. Similar to the Golan Heights, any ATGM or rocket battery positioned on these mountain tops reaches far into Nothern Israel. Syrians did the same back in the 50ties and 60ties from Golan hilltops: Attacked farmers and civilian communities with mortars etc. Israel never gave back Golan Heights after Syria lost them to Israel. Same will likely happen with the South Lebanese mountains. Hizbollah was using Kornet ATGMs so shot civilian houses and vehicles up to 4-5 km away. No defense possible. Also rocket fire is hard to intercept, when fired from there. Thats what the operation is likely about.

The Kiryat Shmona victims: Revital Yehud and Dvir Sharvit, both in their mid 40ties. They went out with their three dogs, as the Hizbollah rocket directly hit them (vid1).


Vid1: Israeli media published this scene. The couple and their 3 dogs. Its said seconds later the rocket killed both. Also the dogs did not survice. The impact is not shown.

Vid 2-4: Hizbollah fired a huge barrage into Israel (yesterday). Several hits in Haifa area. Civilian homes damaged and several wounded. Additionally the the dead couple in Kiryat Shmona.

Vid 5: Eilat, South Israel. Interception of an UAV. Interceptor missile likely shot from a naval vessel.

Vid 6: Eilat. One got through. No media reports, so I guess no one got harmed.

Vid7: The Hadera stabber from yesterday, different angle. Shot into the leg and arrested. He was stabbing random victims while driving a motocycle. Including a teen girl. See post above.

The highest surviving Hizbollah operative offered an immeadiate ceasefire. The details should be negotiated 'later'. Israel declined, the terms are fixed, Hizbo needs to move out of South Lebanon first. This guy also points clearly out that he is *not* the new Hizbollah leader (lol).

Jabaliya Gaza flushing ops by IDF ground forces

The forces of the 401st Brigade are operating in the Jabaliya area as part of the operation of the 162nd Division in the northern Gaza Strip. When the operation began, within a few hours the forces of the brigade completed the encirclement of the area.

The forces of Division 162 began operations to destroy terrorism in Jabaliya following the activity of the forces in the area, and intelligence indications indicating terrorist activity and terrorist entrenchment in the area.

In one of the incidents, the forces of the brigade had a face-to-face battle with terrorists who were in the area and barricaded themselves in the building. The terrorists opened fire and threw a grenade at the fighters who returned fire and killed the two terrorists by firing shells.

In addition, during the operation, the brigade's fire complex destroyed munitions warehouses and in the searches of the forces, many munitions were located, including explosives, grenades, weapons.

Bodycam footage of Israeli YAMAM (anti-terror strike force) arrest of ISIS cell comprised of 5 Israeli citizens who planned to carry out a car-bombing attack at Tel Aviv’s Azrieli Mall.

Suicide drone hit on IDF Golani base in Binyamina, North Israel. The drone hit a dining hall in the evening.

The casualty numbers vary: Israeli press states 67 wounded, of these 4 in critical condition. Inofficial sources state 3 dead.

Both drones were tracked by Israeli radars, and one was shot down off the coast north of Haifa. Sirens sounded in the western Galilee area.

IAF planes and helicopters pursued the second, but it dropped off the radar and Israeli forces lost track of it, likely because it flew very close to the ground. No siren sounded because the assumption was that it had crashed or been intercepted once it disappeared.

The drone ended up striking near Binyamina, injuring almost 70 people.

Four 19 yo recruits have been killed. Seven seriously injured. Rest moderate to light wounds. A total of 67 soldiers got wounded.

Hamas commander in Jenin eliminated

A joint operation of the IDF, the Shin Bet and the Border police in northern Samaria, identified a terrorist cell led by the head of the terrorist organization of Hamas in Jenin in a vehicle in the Jenin region.

After the identification, the attackers of the Judea and Samaria Security Guard acted under the intelligence guidance of the Shin Bet, and killed in an exchange of fire Wassam Hazem, the head of the terrorist organization of Hamas in Jenin. Hazem was involved in carrying out and directing shooting and bomb attacks and promoting other terrorist activities in the Judea and Samaria region.

A short time later, an IDF aircraft killed two more terrorists while they were trying to escape from the vehicle in which they were with Hazem.

The terrorists, Misra Mesharka and Arafat Amer, are terrorist operatives of Hamas in Jenin who operated under Wassam Hazem and were involved in shooting attacks in the Seam area towards Israeli settlements.

M16 rifles, a pistol, cartridges, chargers, gas grenades and tens of thousands of shekels of terrorist funds were found in the terrorists' vehicle and on their bodies.

There were no casualties to IDF forces.
