Probably the fact that before they start forcing the educated to fight who are too sensible to become cannon fodder they are taking the old alcoholics who are penniless and can’t resist what seems a very high wage for what they perceive to be an easy job. Not realising they are to be sent straight of to the front lines to be drone dropped and turned into compost.
