Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VIII (2025)
Indeed. What We Know
Denials and Disputes Iran has officially denied any direct involvement in the attack, calling such claims fabricated. Hamas leaders have also stated that the operation was planned and executed from Gaza without foreign direction. There have been conflicting interpretations of leaked documents and varying assessments from intelligence officials about the depth of Iran’s role. Strategic Perspective Experts on Middle Eastern affairs see the October 7 attack as consistent with Iran’s strategy of empowering proxy groups to exert pressure on Israel and the West without direct military confrontation. While Iran may not have launched the attack itself, it likely supported it with funding, training, and planning assistance through its regional allies. Bottom Line Evidence strongly suggests that Iran played a significant behind-the-scenes role in supporting Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel. This support included strategic guidance, military training, and funding—but Iran did not officially commit troops or publicly claim responsibility. While Iran continues to deny direct involvement, the overall pattern of coordination with Hamas indicates indirect but meaningful complicity.

Not sure if this is where it belongs, but this is right on par with joint resolution 106 from last year, "S.J.Res.106 - A joint resolution to authorize the use of United States Armed Forces against the Islamic Republic of Iran for threatening the national security of the United States through the development of nuclear weapons." https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-...resolution/106 |

I can't help but notice the parallels. First the US sends Gretta Thurnberg to stop the war. Then, with her planning and abilities, she turns on the gazans by advising Israel to attack Iran! Gretta must be stopped! |

Good read. Gretta's triple agent role in this affair had has raised a lot of eyebrows in Mideast G2 circles. Reports are that Gretta is executing a broader plan to reestablish the Pahlavi dynasty and, as crazy as it sounds, possibly marry into a emperor opportunity. Such an approach has stronger standing than the coupe scenarios.

Today at massive amount of US warplanes and tankers (air refueling planes) were seen departing all over the united states and heading toward the middle east before turning their trackers off.

The aforementioned aircraft landed in Europe with confirmation by USCENTCOM that they are there to give options to President Trump and CENTCOM commander, not there for Atlantic Trident joint training exercise.

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VIII (2025)
To be fair it would appear that Iran is well and truly going to have its ass handed to it. The few missiles they have managed to lob over have done very little damage all things considered. Even the amount of missiles they have used seems laughable given the circumstances, I few missiles each night is nothing. Id have expected a continued barrage of hundreds of the things per night. Even the targeting systems see to be second rate. They cant truly believe they can win. What a strange week. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VIII (2025)
The U.S. Navy's aircraft carrier USS Nimitz departed the South China Sea Monday morning, canceling a planned port call in central Vietnam as it changed course westward toward the Middle East. At the same time, over 30 U.S. Air Force aerial-refueling tankers took off from American bases, heading east across the Atlantic. Officials have described some of these movements as routine or related to NATO exercises in Europe. The U.S. State Department has denied any direct U.S. involvement in Israeli airstrikes against Iran and emphasized that U.S. support for Israel is limited to defensive measures. Maybe in case of a major attack by Iran on cities in Israel the U.S. steps in and they now have enough tankers now stationed closer by? |
