Good read. Gretta's triple agent role in this affair had has raised a lot of eyebrows in Mideast G2 circles. Reports are that Gretta is executing a broader plan to reestablish the Pahlavi dynasty and, as crazy as it sounds, possibly marry into a emperor opportunity. Such an approach has stronger standing than the coupe scenarios.

U.S. Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces Africa will participate in Atlantic Trident 25, a joint, multinational exercise bringing together Finnish, French, U.K., and U.S. forces to strengthen fourth- and fifth-generation integration and improve combat readiness, June 16 to 27.

Finland will host this iteration of the biannual tactical-level training exercise, marking not only an expansion of the training scenarios, but also the first time it has been hosted outside of the recurring trilateral partners – the United States, United Kingdom and France.

Aircraft scheduled to participate include the Finnish F/A-18 Hornet; U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II, F-15E Strike Eagle, and KC-135 Stratotanker; French Rafale, E-3F AWACS, A330 MRTT, and A400M; and U.K. Eurofighter Typhoon.

To be fair it would appear that Iran is well and truly going to have its ass handed to it. The few missiles they have managed to lob over have done very little damage all things considered. Even the amount of missiles they have used seems laughable given the circumstances, I few missiles each night is nothing. Id have expected a continued barrage of hundreds of the things per night.

Even the targeting systems see to be second rate. They cant truly believe they can win.

MMore than 30 KC-135 and KC-46 aerial-refueling aircraft departed U.S. bases early Monday, crossing the Atlantic, according to data from Flightradar24.com.

Such tankers are required to refuel aircraft participating in strikes far away from their home country, such as the Israeli jets hitting Iran.

However, U.S. officials stated that the tankers may participate in a scheduled NATO exercise in Europe.
