Due to massive US pressure on Hamas' overlords in Qatar, Golani Soldier Edan Alexander has been unconditionally released.


He holds US-Israeli double citizenship (lucky guy) and was just 19 yo, as Hamas Al Qassam dawn-raided the small IDF post where he served as Staff Sgt. Its not what a Staff Sgt would be in western countries. As far as I understood, every conscripted IDF soldier might get this rank if he/she just serves a certain time and isn't totally incapable. So not a real NCO. The low age also indicates that, IDF ranks have a different meaning.

He was captive 584 days and is now 21yo. Hamas just managed to abduct 3 IDF combat soldiers during Al Aqsa flood. Its unbelievable they did it for free. The last captive IDF combat soldier, couple of years back, had to be released for 1000 detained terrorists.

Serious security incident in Samaria (northern part of the so called "West Bank"). Palestinian gunmen opened fire on civilian traffic.

Severy Israelis were hit. 30yo Tzeela Gez was lethally wounded. She was in her ninth month of pregnancy and was heading to the delivery room to give birth to the 4th child. She worked as relationship, trauma and anxiety therapist.


The terror shooting happened on Route 446 outside Israeli Bruchin settlement. The victim was rushed to hosital in critical condition. Medical staff managed to save (so far) the newborn, applying an emergency c-section. The mother was pronounced dead this morning. The baby is in serious condition.
