There was an informative Who's Who in Hamas video I watched on YT near the beginning of this conflict. It was from an Indian Information Service (don't laugh; it was well-done) and basically gave capsule-biographies of the top dogs in Hamas and why they should be focused on. Wish I had bookmarked it.

At the end of the day, very few Hamas and jihad fighters (or men in war in general) seem like the gung-ho, kamikaze-types rushing into battle to perish bravely and claim their "100 virgins". The vast majority choose life, imprisonment and humiliation over that great unexplored and terrifying territory known as the Land of Death. Even most Japanese soldiers dying on the battlefield in WWII cried "Mama!" rather than "Banzai!"

Suspect most see it as a dirty job they have to do, with the hopes of a better future for their family.

I guess military defeat of Hamas might be imminent, considering the speed of the Israeli advance, the mass surrenders + combat losses + obviously breakdown of the Gazan homefront.

Hamas will soon lose their direkt grip on the strip and needs to go into hiding. They'll act as just ordinary terror group from this moment on. Their time as landlords is over.

The only real issue are the hostages. I feel bad for them. Likely we'll see the next kill videos very soon. Israel probably just can't release thousands of dangerous terrorists, like they did a couple of years back to get this abducted IDF recruit released.

Like 140 hostages are still captive, mostly men (civilians and IDF soldiers) + the IDF females taken from Nahal Oz outpost. Sometimes I fear they'll write them off.

Our favorite FAFO reporter is making bank raising almost 350,000 USD and rising on a site called donorbox or something...to pass out as water or whatever he really wants. You bet your ass if he survives this war, he will use that money to get the hell out of there. At least he has cash to buy his way out once the real shit hit the fan...
