Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread I (2023)
The border is like a customs area for both sides. Israel don't trust Egypt to let in people and Egypt don't trust Israel. These border crossings have 2 checking areas for passport validation for each government. So I go from Eilat in the north of Israel to the border crossing with Egypt to go to Sinai. First Israel checks me out of Israel and does their questioning and passport stuff, then I go for a walk for about a kilometer, and go through the Egyptian customs part where I get my visa and pay for it and they check I'm not bringing guns into Egypt. Then I can get on a bus and head to Sinai. So, to have an open border crossing takes both countries to have that border crossing open. I've done this trip many times |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread I (2023)
Wait who stole land when??? England gave that land to Israel back when there was no country called 'Palestine'. It was Jordan and Egypts before England took it the old fashioned way. Sooooo. So what year do you think Palestine became a country? What year do you think Israel became a country? Who owned that land before Israel became a country? If you answer these 3 questions I think you'll find that you have been a victim of your own willful ignorance and naivety as the Islamic world's propaganda intended. I bet you think Islamophobes are racist too. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread I (2023)
I’ll be the first to admit it don’t know much, if anything, about what’s going on over there. My question is this: how are IDF soldiers getting caught and killed? are they just small groups that are out manning checkpoints and happened to get caught by larger Hamas groups early on as they were pushing through the border? |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread I (2023)
Explanation is probably easy. She was almost naked on this pickup truck, paraded through the streets of Gaza, while beeing surrounded by a cheering crowd of idiots, grabbing and spitting on her body. While her (probably) murderers sitting there, proud as fuck, with their guns and RPGs...as if they just defeated an enemy tank division. And everyone knows its just a party girl, somehow originating from Germany. Also mind the bonus material from their relatives and the aviable footage showing her dancing just minutes before the attack kicked off. Stories like this might be very powerful and infuence the mind of alot people. If I got it right the pickup truck-guy in the center is already indentified. RNIP^^ He won't last long, for sure. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread I (2023)
It blows my mind that anyone could think that Palestine could hold any legitimacy. There's no such thing as "stolen land" It's called getting wrecked and losing claim. Shouldn't have let ol' England take your shit.

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread I (2023)
Pretty much yes. It was a holiday, the checkpoints were few and overrun by a well planned attack with drones taking out the automatic weapons. It is quite a desolate area, so kind of isolated anyway (for a country so small you can get from top to bottom in 5 hours.) All Israeli citizens have to go to the army (or jail) and they must carry their weapons and be in uniform to and from base. Their may have been soldiers in the kibbutz, but not necessarily organized. They got overrun when they didn't expect it. |

One of the videos whiskey posted made me realize how much smartphones have improved the world. An instrumental tool in rescue and recovery at night with just the flashlight on it |

She's ex IDF, ex-combatants are just as legitimate of a target as current combatants in a warzone as they are capable of carrying arms and become a threat [to their enemy]

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread I (2023)
I have already warned about this shit multiple times openly in these threads and again in PM. ENOUGH OF THE REPETITIVE COMMENTS ABOUT KILLING KIDS. YOU'VE MADE YOUR POINT AD NAUSEUM. It does nothing but rile people up and derail the thread. Spamming of the same shit over and over is now borderline instigative trolling when you've been asked to stop multiple times. There will be no more warnings and you will be banned from the thread if it happens again. EDIT: this applies to anyone who keeps talking about wanting kids to suffer or die.
