Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread I (2023)
It's really strange that the dates on all of those 'atrocities' are after November 29, 1947 when the Palestinians and multiple other Arab countries backing them, launched an offensive against the Israelis. It's almost like the Palestinians did a FAFO and didn't like the results of the Find Out part. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread I (2023)
From the old thread: “It's really strange that the dates on all of those 'atrocities' are after November 29, 1947 when the Palestinians and multiple other Arab countries backing them, launched an offensive against the Israelis. It's almost like the Palestinians did a FAFO and didn't like the results of the Find Out part.” How do you launch an offensive at people who have been given large parts of your carved up country? Surely it’s a defensive at that point. Or are you suggesting you’d sit on your front porch twiddling your thumbs whilst someone moved thousands of people into your town and restricted where you could work and shot a few of your mates. Why is the thread full of such fucking wimps that think the Palestinians should have just taken the last half century up the arse? Enjoy getting slapped about and just have a smile on their faces? |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread I (2023)
At what point in time do you start the clock of "this property belongs to Arab Palestinians"? Because there's a lot more history there before the Islamification of the region than you may be aware of. But I digress, the easy question is...Did they have to be there for 100 years to claim it, 500 years, 1000+ years? Because someone always claims the land as theirs before the next person claims it as theirs. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread I (2023)
Can you honestly look at what British colonialism, the UN, the White Paper, and the holocaust did, and not be able to pinpoint the quite obvious escalations? The mandated division of Palastine into Jewish and Arab states was fucked before it got off the ground. One eight of Palestinians remained in what was mandated to be Israel, but their land was confiscated turning them from self employed farmers to unskilled labour workers in Jewish Industries. Which was probably preferable to living in the Gaza Strip where your home was probably a refugee camp. 75,000 Jews were supposed to come to the newly founded Isreal, which was increased and hastened by the genocide during WWII. They flooded in, and war tired Britain couldn’t do a thing to stop it. In fact Britain, (and I’m British) are the ones who most likely armed both Israel and Palestine seeing as both fought for them. And weapons sales to this area of the world has suited the west ever since. So fuck those guys. Are you really saying that in 2000 years of history, this wasn’t the boiling pot of shite responsible for what’s happening now? You really think what happened in AD63, or the 14th century has even 1% bearing on how things have turned out? Surely you’re not that thick. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread I (2023)
Wait a goddamn minute... there is BLM in Israel and/or Palestine? No? Then it (and all the other unrelated shit) doesn't belong in this thread either. ==== "As of today (19th), Israel has killed 4 of Hamas political leaders. Only 1 Hamas military leader has been killed" "The Houthi Movement in Yemen has announced a Major Jihadi Mobilization and their Intentions to assist in the Hamas War against Israel." "The IDF received the first shipment of 100,000 ceramic armored vests that it purchased to provide to the reserve forces. In addition, the IDF received a large shipment of new M4A1 rifles." VIDEO: "The British Prime Minister gets off a military cargo plane in Tel Aviv. Not exactly a red carpet visit…"

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE Conflict Discussion Thread I (2023)
NO MEDIA: "⚡️, [10/19/2023 5:13 AM] IDF Spokesperson Hagari - "There are 203 hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza". ⚡️, [10/19/2023 5:14 AM] A total of 306 IDF troops have been killed so far. ⚡️, [10/19/2023 5:15 AM] IDF confirmed it has been carrying probing and incursion raids into the Gaza strip these past few days." ⚡️, [10/19/2023 5:44 AM] IDF says troops have arrested 524 wanted Palestinians across the West Bank, including more than 330 affiliated with Hamas, since the war began on Oct. 7. Overnight, 63 Hamas members were detained. === From Amir Tsarfati (Israeli public figure): "So to sum up Biden's visit: - Israel must not give Hezbollah a preemptive blow. - It is forbidden to occupy the strip. - We were warned against harming civilians. - Biden forced the introduction of "humanitarian aid", and loosened the pressure of the blockade. - The US will give $100 million in aid to the Strip. - Six billion dollars to Iran were not frozen. - The administration will continue to claim that there is "no direct evidence" of Iranian involvement in the attack, thus protecting the continuation of its disastrous policy in the IDF from American public opinion. - The position of the United States is that the majority of Palestinians who voted for Hamas do not really support it. - Biden reiterated his belief in the two-state solution. On the other hand: - We received a generous aid package (which will also deepen our military dependence on the Americans). - Two aircraft carriers arrived in the area with the stated goal of preventing Hezbollah from attacking (but on the condition that we would not attack either. We agreed). - "The cooperation was deepened" (that is, American representatives were screwed into our decision-making processes so that we do not decide anything that is not approved by them). - We got a hug. in brief: Biden blocked any way to an unequivocal Israeli victory picture, something that would make it clear to our enemies that we are weak, and dependent on others. A historic visit indeed. He made an important contribution to tipping the balance of power in the region against us. and for dessert: No one said anything about the fact that yesterday, according to the nuclear agreement, the restrictions on Iran's ballistic missile program expired. How symbolic. (Gadi Taub)"
