In human history "sovereignty" is gained only if one can enforce it. You can do it through force, diplomacy, economics, just some kind of power over others so they recognize and respect your sovereignty. Now what does Palestine have to offer to be able to claim "sovereignty". If you cannot offer enough then you are doomed to be conquered by those who can enforce their sovereignty. That's the simple truth of human history and it has not changed today. |
