Who are "they"? I responded as if "all Muslims" don't "never build and only destroy." The UAE, with its city of Dubai in particular, is predominantly Muslim. But they are also tolerant of other religions. The imams are employed by the government and they arrest/deport any of them found to be guilty preaching radical Islamic ideals. They have built the artificial islands of The Palm Islands, The World, and The Universe.  They also built the tallest man-made structure in the world, the Burj Khalifa.  For the most part, I'd agree with the initial assertion if we were only speaking of Radical Muslims. But then again, that's the danger of using plural, 3rd person, subjective pronouns like "they". Unless you preface its use with a noun, the meaning of the trailing/stand-alone pronoun is unclear. And I'm not a Muslim-apologetic or anything close. I just don't believe that they're all out to kill everything not of or from their brand of Islam. Just like I don't believe that all Christians are knuckle-dragging Neanderthal throw-backs to the 1700s. Stereotypes and tracers are alike, in that they point both ways.  |

Good question! I wonder if they'd feel like they were being dishonorable by using electro-mechanical, jihadist-free, martyr-free, killing-machines like the infidel Western nations do with their drones and packbots. I've seen some videos of the jihadis employing some crudely-simple and dastardly devices with surprising effectiveness. Hell, watch Mythbusters and they'll show you how they rig up a remote-control car! I'm sure the jihadis could figure it out as well. |

I have been to the UAE several times. That was one of the cleanest, more expensive, and most modern of the Arab countries. Yet they still have extreme fundamentalist running around causing problems.. |
