Can anyone tell me why we here in the West don't give a fuck about this but when some unknown white reporter gets his head lopped off, we now consider even more mission creep?

So are journalists a special bunch? Maybe Assad should round up all of his journalists and send them out to get slaughtered to garner the sympathy of the West.
Hard to stomach, but we rely on the media and most people really don't know. They may know from what they heard but if the population as a whole actually saw this things would be very very different
