Your brain won't starve of oxygen for a few minutes after beheading... meanwhile he feels all.. he felt the sword strike his neck all the way until his face thumped on the hot as fuck ground. Then he could do nothing except see and hear everything around him as the sun beats down on his skull. Geezzz that is a truly horrific way to go. It's certainly not as bad as necklacing, though going out this way still sucks major std-cock

Umm....no, that's not entirely correct. Your brain will run on fumes and continue to be active for another 20-40 seconds at most before it permanently shuts down. Cell death and permanent brain damage typically occur 3-6 minutes after being deprived of oxygen, but you would've lost consciousness way before that. If you had a good executioner like the one in this video, you'd lose consciousness and the ability to feel pain after about 10 seconds.

So yeah, he felt his head getting chopped off, he felt it hit the ground, he felt the heat from the sand, if he wasn't blind folded he would've caught an unnerving glimpse of his headless body... and he may have even heard the executioner wipe the sword on his own body. So yeah, I agree with you, it would be pretty horrific, but only for a few seconds.

I agree that these people are savages, but at least this guy knows what he's doing, and is using a sharp sword. Most of the time it takes minutes to cut someone's head off because the blade is so dull.
