Yep. He's letting it cool down. They heat soak easy. Also, I am not sure that the wounded were not wounded through friendly fire.

He had the right idea running up to the base like that but then he realized that if he rushes in he might get friendly fired. That's the problem they had there... That guy should have rushed in alone and then killed them all. easy. they wouldn't expect one guy to go in alone lol.
