This footage is either fake or from another period or location. If Ukrainian snipers were shooting Russian soldiers, Putin would have already invaded, and with a good reason.

Well, that's clearly patriotic bullshit. USA hasn't fought any major wars against a modern, well-equipped and highly motivated army since Vietnam...and even that didn't turn out that well. USA may end up gaining air superiority, but not until it has taken heavy losses( casualties it would not be willing to take to defend Ukraine ). A-10 is not an air superiority fighter, and it would not enter the conflict area until F-22's and other spearhead ASF's have cleared the sky. That would take months. You would have to hunt down all the S-400 , S-500 AA systems, and many other mid range AA systems before you can bomb Russian territory with impunity. And those systems fight back...and are deadly even against F-22 and F-35's. |

You guys are missing the point.We are not going to defend Ukraine .The A-10s were made for close air support for troops and are deadly vs infantry and tanks.Biden sent some troops to Poland and Baltic states to deter Russia from invading along those lines.We would have complete control of skies after some losses.This would be proactive vs reactive by getting them ready.If shit spins out of control outside of Ukraine it will be in Poland and the Baltic states were NATO troops and a handful of Americans are.The US is not going to defend Ukraine.

Have worked with Hawgs both from the ground & inflight, love the MDS. However, his statement isn't BS, I know that's a hard pill to swallow. Anyone who's been around modern IADS knows it's nothing to screw around with & has a healthy respect for it.

What bravery, to lie in a hole in the dark and snipe from afar with thermal scope. She should go back on the front line, now that there's drones with thermal cameras flying over. Let's see how she does when the enemy is not at a huge disadvantage. What rock were you under when the US organized a coup to remove yet another democratically elected regime, install corrupt puppets, arm neo nazis, engage in genocide in the east, ban the political party that actually won the last fair and free elections there, and made the nation an enemy to Russia to serve US geopolitical interests? Ukraine WAS a democracy until 2014. Since then, it's been a dumpster fire. |
