All Ukraine should say about this is bring them on. If they were good criminals they wouldn’t be imprisoned, so they’ll likely make even worse soldiers, poorly disciplined, and eager to make a hasty getaway at the first opportunity. It is a fools errand trying to get them to fight for mother Russia.
