Civilian casualties are the worst, however kids dying is even more indescribably sad.

Let’s hope that when there finally is peace that a monument is created with all their names and ages so that we never forget them.
Like this one which, sad enough is already in Ukraine. (I googled for “Ukraine dead children memorial”)

I pray that this is the last year that there is need for such sites to be build, and that the conflict ends soon so that people at least can mourn in peace without having to run to the bomb shelters all day and night

Nice granite monuments with names dont really keep people from forgetting the horrors of war.

I'd rather not rebuild Bakhmut/Adiivka and keep the entire city as a monument to war crimes.
You could then travel to those cities as a tourist, and see the destruction war brings. I think people would be far less supportive of dictators and their wars if they had an opportunity to walk through a warzone( thats made safe ofc ).

Reminds me of Oradour-sur-Glane in France, it was never rebuilt to remain a permanent memorial to the Nazi massacre of the village.

I didn't & wont watch the vid as you all know I hate what happens to civies.

I will however say that none of this would have happened if russia didn't invade Ukraine & the genocidal & scorched earth policy that followed them, so for pro russian assholes that support the invasion to say, "Oh, That's so bad, terrible in every way ect" is sickening as you openly support this kind of stuff as it's just systematic cleansing of a race of ppl who were no threat to anyone.
