Re: Absolute Evil: Russian war crimes in Ukraine
Is there a difference in watching Russians turn a Ukrainian POW into swiss cheese and watching Russians plead for their life and pussy footed men operating drones laugh from miles away and kill them anyway...? Listen...if you want me to feel bad for the poor Ukrainian POW that was turned into swiss cheese, maybe you should take a long look in the mirror in the glorification of killing Russian soldiers pleading for their life through the lens of a drone. I'd say it's absolutely justified and furthermore don't fault the Russians a SINGLE bit for turning homie into swizz |

All these Documented Cases of War Crimes yet there's no word or actions going on with the prosecution of these individuals or the russian government. There's plenty of evidence so why are there no criminal cases being bought before the courts to prosecute those responsible. |

Re: Absolute Evil: Russian war crimes in Ukraine
Fantastic and very valid point. Because one does it it doesnt make it alright for the other to do likewise. You cant claim the moral high ground when you are doing the same thing. I wouldnt go as far as saying its justified but I will say that it was The Ruskies that started it. So yeah you should fault them. Killing other soldiers is one thing but killing innocent civilians and children is over the top. Who I feel sorry for are the countless families who have and still are losing loved ones daily for what ultimately will be Poo Tins war. Now that Trump has turned off the supplies its over there is no way the EU and UK are going to be able to keep on supplying at the levels we saw prior. It should be a wake up call to the whole of Europe and the UK that Russia could if it wanted to just keep going. |

Re: Absolute Evil: Russian war crimes in Ukraine
Honestly rare on this site...... so credit where its due. I agree with your distinction between soldiers and civilians. It absolutely matters, even in war. Id just argue that saying "Russia started it" skips a lot of what we know. If we go back to Euromaidan and admit there was Western meddling in toppling Ukraines government, plus the civil war that erupted in Donbas years before the invasion, the roots run deeper than just 2022. Russian speaking civilians in the east were being killed for a long time before Moscow rolled in. There can totally be an argument here that those eastern Russian speaking separatists were Russian Proxies, but that begs the fact that the preceding event of Euromaidan was Western proxies. So we ask ourselves....who fired the first shot to cause this war..? The civil war didnt start at Fort Sumter, if we consider Bleeding Kansas. It was well in the works long before the first shot fired at the Battle of Fort Sumter. But..... you're absolutely right. Its a brutal and disgusting war, and wed all be better off if it ended. Trump cutting aid is like cutting a diabetic off sugar. |
