Re: 2023 Russian Civil War Mega Thread (Wagner vs. RF)
This is way off topic now so this will be the last I speak on it in this thread. Perhaps you should consider that you don't have access to most of the threads where these things are being discussed, you might not be up to date on your information. There are Russian sourced maps with this information on it as well. Ukrainian forces never retreated from Bakhmut. Through combat they were pushed back further until Wagner announced on 20 May that Bakhmut has been captured for the 2nd or 3rd time. But that was just the city center, at that time. Russia has advanced ahead slightly but in the last month, Ukraine has made significant gains in the region, especially the flanks. Bakhmut is surrounded by elevated hills and that is where Ukrainian forces planted themselves. Yesterday they had significant success that I just posted video for in the media thread, clearing the Siversky-Donets Donbas canal area. Sites are set on Klishchiivka from what I understand. Compare the map from 21 May to today.

Re: 2023 Russian Civil War Mega Thread (Wagner vs. RF)
NO MEDIA: ""Putin was nowhere to be found": The media learned (https://meduza.io/feature/2023/06/25...-ne-bylo-nigde) how the negotiations with Prigozhin went – Meduza The Russian authorities have been negotiating with Prigozhin since the evening of June 23, when he announced the start of his "justice march." "The military leadership, members of the presidential administration, the leadership of the Rosgvardia and officials close to him tried to communicate with him. But his actions were such that it was not very clear what to talk about at all," the Russian media reported. On the day of his "rebellion" on June 24, the leader of the Wagner PMC tried to get in touch with the Russian president, but he refused, and later Putin did not participate in the negotiations. The final negotiations were conducted by a large group of officials, including the head of the presidential administration, Anton Vaino, the secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, and the Russian ambassador to Belarus, Boris Gryzlov. The frontman of this group was the self-proclaimed president of Belarus. According to a source close to the Kremlin, Prigozhin insisted that "top officials" take part in the talks. Interlocutors close to the Kremlin also acknowledge that the rebellion has weakened Putin's position" === ""I don't think this is the final episode" - Blinken on the attempted coup in Russia "We have Prigozhin publicly questioning the very premise of Russia's aggression against Ukraine - the notion that Ukraine or NATO somehow pose a threat to Russia. There is a man who is publicly and very openly challenging Putin's authority," he said. "Putin had to defend Moscow, the capital of Russia, from his own mercenary... I don't want to speculate, but I don't think we have seen the final episode," Blinken added."

Re: 2023 Russian Civil War Mega Thread (Wagner vs. RF)
"During an attempted mutiny in Russia, the Wagnerites shot down a rare Il-22M-11 with ten people on board. ◾️This air command post is an important element of the structure of a unified information field at the level of a front or a group of troops. The Russian Aerospace Forces have a limited number of such control and relay aircraft in service." #russiancivilwar #aircraft

Re: 2023 Russian Civil War Mega Thread (Wagner vs. RF)
NO MEDIA: ""The coup was being prepared for eight months and all of Prigozhin's publicity was aimed at preparing it" - GULAGU NET GULAGU NET published a list of the National Guard, Federal Security Service and Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation units that have partially or fully moved over to Prigozhin's side. A description of what is happening was also provided: This special operation was being prepared and developed over a period of more than eight months. Surovikin and Alexeyev not only knew but were also involved and verbally instructed some commanders not to offer armed resistance. That is why they were urgently taken under control and forced to make a video-recorded appeal addressed to Prigozhin. Later, when taking over the headquarters of the Southern Military District of the MoD, Alexeyev uttered an important phrase to Prigozhin's demand of giving them Chief of the General Staff Gerasimov: "Yes, take him away". They were ready to hand over their commander (superior officers) to the rebels. This is a fact of betrayal, a decision on which is about to be made. This special operation involved former commanders and fighters of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, 2nd and 15th GRU brigades of Wagner PMC (under the command of Utkin), who had previously participated in special operations on the territory of foreign countries, primarily to capture customs posts, communication points, local army units and strategic weapons. Formally, Yevgeny Prigozhin himself was at the headquarters of the Southern Military District of the MoD, and did not physically move from there, holding talks with the Deputy Minister of Defense and giving orders to detain or capture anything, unlike Utkin, Kuznetsov and other PMC commanders, and neither Putin, nor Peskov promised them immunity and non-prosecution. By the end of the year, they will be detained or liquidated. Source: GULAGU NET"

Re: 2023 Russian Civil War Mega Thread (Wagner vs. RF)
1️⃣"Complete disappointment in Prigozhin: Yesterday, convicts from Russian Storm Z unit publicly supported Prigozhin's march on Moscow. One day later, they recorded another video. This time, Storm Z accused Prigozhin of turning around and halting his march." 2️⃣"This subtitled video is Prigozhin's story by CurrentTimeTv. I think it'll be an interesting watch for you. Prigozhin's press office said that he is not yet available. "He sends his regards to everyone and will answer questions when he has a normal connection," RTVI reporter was told in response to an inquiry. Prigozhin was last seen when he left Rostov, but his current location is unknown."
