Three Rescued from Sinking Boat Off Shark River Inlet
Coast Guard Station Manasquan Inlet and Air Station Atlantic City rescued three mariners after their 74-foot boat began sinking about 4 nautical miles northeast of Shark River Inlet, New Jersey, on Jan. 17, 2025. A 47-foot Motor Lifeboat crew and an MH-65 Dolphin aircrew responded. The boat crew took the mariners to awaiting emergency services at Manasquan Inlet.  ·
