Coast Guard Assists Flooding Sea Ray Near Galveston
An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Houston assisted a 40-foot Sea Ray taking on water near Galveston on Jan. 17, 2026. Seven people were on board. The aircrew deployed a rescue swimmer and an additional pump to help dewater the vessel. Station Galveston escorted it safely into port.
