Station Cape May Rescues 4 from Sinking Pegasus
Coast Guard Station Cape May rescued four people from the sailing vessel Pegasus on September 22, 2023, after it began taking on water. Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay received a report from the mariners aboard that they had been struck by a tanker vessel and were taking on water. The Pegasus was later towed by commercial salvage.  ·
