Paraglider Rescued from Tree Near Cape Lookout State Park
A Coast Guard Sector Columbia River MH-60 Jayhawk aircrew rescued a paraglider from a tree near Cape Lookout State Park, Oregon, on June 24, 2021. The paraglider had become tangled about 300 feet from the ground. The rescue involved the Coast Guard, Netarts-Oceanside Fire District, state police, and Tillamook and Seaside authorities.
