Man Medevaced After Propeller Contact in Wassaw Sound
A Coast Guard Air Station Savannah rescue crew medevaced a 33-year-old man in Wassaw Sound, Georgia, on Oct. 19, 2024. The man was trying to unground his recreational vessel when he made contact with the propeller. An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew transferred him to Savannah Memorial for further medical care.
