Man Hoisted After Boat Collision West of Sarasota
A Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater helicopter crew hoisted a man experiencing head injuries after a boat collision on May 17, 2023, 30 miles west of Sarasota. The owners are coordinating with commercial salvage for the vessels. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
