Coast Guard Cutter Assists GYPSEA North of Kauai
U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Joseph Gerczak (WPC 1126) assisted the disabled vessel GYPSEA north of Kauai on May 17, 2023, and rescued a mariner. Coast Guard members rigged lights and sails aboard GYPSEA. The cutter's small boat steamed alongside the vessel after the work, and Joseph Gerczak also steamed alongside GYPSEA.
