U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Kimball (WMSL 756), with maritime enforcement specialists from Tactical Law Enforcement Team South, interdicted suspected drug-smuggling vessels while patrolling the Eastern Pacific Ocean on March 3 and March 4, 2025.

On March 3, Kimball crewmembers seized cocaine bales from a go-fast vessel and sank a drug-smuggling vessel as a hazard to navigation.

On March 4, the crew brought aboard 1,708 kilograms of cocaine seized from a suspected drug-smuggling vessel. Two suspected smugglers were brought aboard and searched, and the cutter recovered its 26-foot over-the-horizon small boat while transporting the cocaine and the two suspects.
