Coast Guard Seizes $6.3M in Cocaine Near Port Everglades
A Coast Guard Station Fort Lauderdale law enforcement boat crew seized about 550 pounds of cocaine near Port Everglades on Mar. 22, 2025. The cocaine was valued at an estimated $6.3 million. The crew took custody of the 36-foot vessel Bella Vita and transferred the suspected smuggler to Coast Guard Investigative Service agents ashore to face federal prosecution.  ·  ·
